  Beauty is seen everyday and all around us. For this young girl Maria Castillo she takes the definition of beauty in her own hands, literally. Maria is a certified Esthetician, and makeup artist. She has a passion for her work and says she loves to "see the before and after process". She has a need for visual appeal in a subtle way. Her precise techniques help her achieve her excellent customer satisfaction, and reviews. She does something she loves as everyday career. Not only is Maria a makeup artist she is also an eyelash technician. She applies false eyelash extensions that last up to 3 weeks at a time. She is also very skilled in all that has to do with facials, and facial treatment.

  Maria loves what she does but also doesn't want her makeup application especially on young girls to change who they are. She says "everyday people try to be someone their not just because of the pressures they face to follow a trend or to follow someone.". She doesn't understand why people are changing who they truly are in the beauty industry to follow a trend or to fit in and be accepted in society. She feels makeup has a big part of it to because the amount of makeup you apply keeps you modest and stays true to who you really are. "Makeup is meant to enhance beauty not change who you are".

  She hopes people may follow in her footsteps and take her advice not to change who you are for someone or something. She hopes that if anyone would like to have a career in the beauty industry to be able to achieve it. " If it is something your passionate about, go for it". Maria has been an inspiration not only for her clients but hopes to be once people get to know what shes all about.The beauty industry can be tough at time to be able to cope with insecure people wanting to feel good about themselves. As long as we are getting the point across that everyone is beautiful within and without it can help us get one step closer to changing the world.
